Sender Email Marketing & SMS vs SMSGo: Abandoned Cart Recoveryfor Shopify (2026)
Sender Email Marketing & SMS and SMSGo: Abandoned Cart Recovery are both SMS marketing apps on the Shopify app store, but they cater to different needs. Sender Email Marketing & SMS aims to be a comprehensive email and SMS marketing solution, focusing on lead generation, email automation, and SMS capabilities. Its strength lies in its drag-and-drop email builder, premade templates, and integrated email and SMS workflows. This app is ideal for merchants looking for a unified platform to manage both email and SMS marketing efforts. The low number of reviews could make this a risky choice for some. SMSGo: Abandoned Cart Recovery, on the other hand, is laser-focused on SMS marketing, specifically abandoned cart recovery and post-purchase upsell flows. Its primary strength is its advanced abandoned cart recovery features, including the ability to send multiple SMS notifications with automatic discounts and use custom sender IDs. SMSGo seems more attractive to merchants who have a handle on their email marketing and want to focus solely on maximizing conversions through SMS marketing tactics. Its higher rating and number of reviews indicate more user satisfaction.
