Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with optimizing image alt text and accessibility, SEO HERO AI Alt Text Generator offers a focused and potentially more streamlined solution. Its emphasis on brand voice and custom prompts provides granular control over alt text generation. However, the limited number of reviews raises some questions about long-term support and feature development.
Sherpas: Smart SEO is the better choice for merchants seeking a comprehensive SEO platform. Its wide array of features, coupled with a significantly larger user base (as indicated by the high number of reviews), suggest greater reliability and a broader support network. While it may require a steeper initial learning curve, Sherpas' all-in-one approach can lead to significant improvements in overall SEO performance. Merchants should consider their existing SEO knowledge and the scope of their SEO needs when choosing between the two.
