Sezzle Widget vs Try with Mirra Before You Buyfor Shopify (2026)
Sezzle Widget and Try with Mirra Before You Buy both aim to enhance the online shopping experience and boost sales for Shopify merchants, but they do so through entirely different mechanisms. Sezzle focuses on providing Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) and longer-term financing options to customers, particularly in the US and Canada. Its strength lies in its seamless integration and automatic adjustments based on product and cart value. Try with Mirra, on the other hand, targets fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brands by enabling customers to 'try before you buy'. This addresses concerns about fit and style, fostering trust and potentially increasing order sizes. The critical distinction lies in their value propositions: Sezzle aims to increase affordability and purchase conversion by breaking down payments, while Try with Mirra reduces risk and builds confidence by allowing customers to physically experience the product before fully committing. The choice depends on the merchant's specific needs and product category. Sezzle's geographic limitation to the US and Canada is a significant consideration for merchants outside these regions. Try with Mirra focuses on specific product categories with fit and style concerns, whereas Sezzle's financing options can benefit a broader range of products, although not explicitly specified in the product description.

Our Verdict
If your business sells products where affordability and payment flexibility are key drivers (and you primarily serve US/Canadian customers), Sezzle Widget is the more suitable choice. Its BNPL options are designed to increase conversion rates and average order value by removing immediate financial barriers. However, for merchants in the fashion, beauty, and lifestyle sectors, especially those grappling with customer concerns about fit, style, or quality, Try with Mirra Before You Buy offers a compelling solution. Allowing customers to try before they buy builds trust, reduces returns (potentially after the initial adoption period), and can lead to larger order sizes as customers feel more confident in their purchases. While Try with Mirra has fewer reviews, its perfect rating suggests a high level of satisfaction among its users.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to integrate?
Sezzle Widget states 'Easy integration from Shopify admin', while Try with Mirra highlights 'Seamless integration with your tech stack'. Both suggest straightforward integration processes, but the exact ease depends on the merchant's specific setup and technical expertise.
Does Sezzle Widget handle returns?
The Sezzle Widget description doesn't mention returns handling directly. It focuses on payment facilitation and displaying payment options.
Is Try with Mirra available outside the fashion/beauty niche?
While Try with Mirra is designed for fashion, beauty and lifestyle brands, the 'try before you buy' model *could* be adapted for other product categories where experiencing the product beforehand is crucial. However, their marketing materials and support are tailored to the mentioned niche.
Which app offers better customer support?
Sezzle Widget offers a 'dedicated support team'. Try with Mirra provides '24/7 support'. The level and quality of support will vary based on the specific vendor, but on the surface, Try with Mirra appears to offer more consistent support.
Which app is better for new stores?
It depends. Sezzle Widget could be useful for stores in the US and Canada looking to get more conversions and increase average order value. Try with Mirra has the potential to increase conversions and build trust with customers but might require more set up and operational changes to integrate the 'try before you buy' process into the business.
