Sherpas: Smart SEO vs SpeedSize AI‑Image Optimizerfor Shopify (2026)
Sherpas: Smart SEO and SpeedSize AI‑Image Optimizer both cater to Shopify merchants seeking to improve their store's visibility and performance. However, they approach this goal with different scopes. Sherpas: Smart SEO positions itself as a comprehensive SEO solution, tackling various aspects from meta tags and image optimization to link building and structured data. It appears to target merchants who need a broad SEO toolset and value automation, especially using AI powered by ChatGPT-4 Turbo. The high number of reviews (842) and perfect rating (5/5) suggest high user satisfaction. SpeedSize AI‑Image Optimizer, on the other hand, focuses primarily on image optimization, likely targeting merchants who are acutely aware of the impact of image size on page speed and user experience. The significantly lower number of reviews indicates a smaller user base or a newer app. While its rating is still high (4.9/5), it doesn't offer the breadth of SEO functionalities found in Sherpas: Smart SEO.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants seeking a comprehensive SEO solution that covers meta tags, image optimization, link building, and structured data with AI-powered automation, Sherpas: Smart SEO is the clear choice. SpeedSize AI‑Image Optimizer is best suited for merchants who have already addressed other SEO aspects and are specifically focused on optimizing their store's images to improve page speed and user experience. If image optimization is the *primary* concern, SpeedSize might be sufficient, but for a holistic SEO approach, Sherpas: Smart SEO is the stronger recommendation.
