Sherpas: Smart SEO and Webrex: SEO Schema & JSON‑LD are both highly-rated (5/5) Shopify apps designed to improve a store's search engine optimization. However, they differ in their scope and primary focus. Sherpas: Smart SEO takes a broader approach, aiming to provide a comprehensive SEO solution encompassing meta tags, image optimization, page speed, broken link management, and backlink analysis. Its positioning emphasizes simplifying complex SEO tasks for a wider audience of merchants. Webrex: SEO Schema & JSON‑LD, on the other hand, concentrates on structured data and schema markup, specifically optimizing a store for AI-driven search and rich results. Webrex caters to merchants who want to leverage schema markup to improve click-through rates and visibility in search results, even without immediate ranking improvements.
