Shipmozo ‑ Smart Shipping vs Shipping & Delivery ‑ ShipZipfor Shopify (2026)
Shipmozo ‑ Smart Shipping and Shipping & Delivery ‑ ShipZip are both Shopify apps in the 'Shipping rates' category, but cater to very different merchant needs and geographical focuses. Shipmozo aims to simplify shipping logistics, primarily for businesses in India, by acting as a shipping aggregator with integrated courier partners. Its key strength is seamless courier integration and automated label generation, targeting businesses seeking streamlined order management and access to a wide network of Indian couriers. In contrast, Shipping & Delivery ‑ ShipZip focuses on advanced, highly customizable shipping rules and rate calculations. It targets merchants needing granular control over their shipping costs based on diverse parameters like product attributes, customer locations, and delivery dates. The app's strength lies in its ability to define intricate shipping scenarios, including local delivery with time slots, order delivery date specifications, and surcharges for specific conditions. Unlike Shipmozo's courier-centric approach, ShipZip necessitates the Carrier Calculated Shipping API, indicating a focus on merchants managing their own carrier relationships and rate negotiations.

Our Verdict
Shipping & Delivery ‑ ShipZip is the clear choice for merchants requiring advanced customization and control over their shipping rates, especially those offering local delivery with specific time slots or needing to calculate rates based on product attributes and customer locations. Its higher rating and significantly larger number of reviews reinforce its established reputation and user satisfaction. However, ShipZip requires Carrier Calculated Shipping API.
Shipmozo ‑ Smart Shipping might be suitable for businesses operating primarily in India that prioritize ease of use and integration with local courier partners. Its aggregator model and focus on automated label generation could appeal to merchants seeking a streamlined shipping process without the need for complex rate calculations. However, its extremely low rating and very small number of reviews raise serious concerns about its reliability and performance.
