Shipping & Delivery ‑ ShipZip vs Shiprocket Promisefor Shopify (2026)
Shipping & Delivery ‑ ShipZip and Shiprocket Promise both address delivery challenges for Shopify merchants, but target different needs. ShipZip focuses on granular control over shipping rate calculations and local delivery options. It allows merchants to create complex shipping rules based on product attributes, customer location (zip code/postcode), and order characteristics, including delivery date and weight. This makes it suitable for businesses with intricate shipping requirements or those offering local delivery and store pickup. Shiprocket Promise, on the other hand, prioritizes improving conversion rates by providing accurate estimated delivery dates (EDD) and building customer trust through trust badges. Our Verdict
For merchants struggling with accurately calculating shipping costs based on various factors like product type, location, or order weight, and those who need to manage local delivery or store pickup with specific time slots, Shipping & Delivery ‑ ShipZip is likely the better choice. Its highly customizable rule-based system offers unparalleled control. However, if a merchant's primary goal is to reduce cart abandonment and improve conversion rates by providing accurate estimated delivery dates and instilling trust in customers, Shiprocket Promise would be more suitable, despite its lower rating and fewer reviews. The multi-warehouse EDD optimization could be very beneficial to merchants with inventory in multiple locations.
