Our Verdict
Shiptheory is ideal for businesses seeking comprehensive shipping automation, particularly those dealing with multiple carriers and high shipping volumes. It's a strong choice for merchants wanting to offload the manual aspects of shipping and focus on other business areas. Zipcode Checker - Zipprover is best suited for stores with specific delivery areas or those wanting to improve customer experience by providing accurate delivery information upfront. If your primary concern is pre-purchase validation of delivery areas and managing customer expectations regarding delivery timelines, then Zipcode Checker - Zipprover is the better choice.
If you're only able to use one app of the two, deciding will depend on what challenges you are experiencing most often. If you have high volumes of packages being shipped, but your customers are mostly within zones you can delivery to, go with Shiptheory. If you are a business which is frequently shipping to areas that you can't delivery to or your customers are unclear on when their package will arrive, choose Zipcode Checker.
