Our Verdict
The choice between Size Wise and Tabs Studio depends largely on the specific needs of the merchant. If addressing sizing-related returns is a primary concern, Size Wise ‑ Size Chart & Guide, despite its lack of reviews, directly tackles that problem with its size charts and recommender. However, the lack of reviews presents a risk. If the merchant is struggling with lengthy and disorganized product descriptions, Tabs Studio, with its stellar rating and numerous reviews, is the more sensible choice due to its proven ability to improve product page readability. Tabs Studio also offers a more established and reliable option at this point, given the stark difference in user feedback.
Common Questions
Can Size Wise automatically import sizing data from manufacturers?
The app description does not specify automatic importing of sizing data from manufacturers. Users can create custom charts using tables, images, and rich text, suggesting a more manual data entry process.
Does Tabs Studio allow for embedding videos within the tabs?
The app description highlights features such as showing metafields, adding icons, and customizing styles. However, it doesn't explicitly state the ability to embed videos within tabs. This functionality may depend on how video embed codes interact with the tab's content.
Which app is better for reducing returns?
Size Wise is explicitly designed to reduce returns by helping customers find the right size. Tabs Studio can indirectly reduce returns by providing clearer product information, but it is not its primary focus.
Can I use both Size Wise and Tabs Studio on the same product page?
Yes, both apps can likely be used on the same product page. Size Wise focuses on sizing, while Tabs Studio organizes content. Using both could create a well-organized page with detailed size information.
Is Tabs Studio compatible with all Shopify themes?
While Tabs Studio claims to be lightweight and fully customizable, ensuring full compatibility with every Shopify theme is difficult. The developer should have compatibility information readily available. Always test thoroughly on a staging environment before deploying to a live store.
