Smart Size Chart & Size Guide vs SnapSize ‑ Snap, Pick and Buyfor Shopify (2026)
Smart Size Chart & Size Guide and SnapSize ‑ Snap, Pick and Buy offer fundamentally different approaches to solving the online sizing challenge. Smart Size Chart focuses on providing merchants with highly customizable and visually appealing size charts that integrate seamlessly into their store's branding. It aims to reduce returns by providing clear and accessible sizing information to customers through templates and responsive design. SnapSize, on the other hand, is a more innovative approach, attempting to revolutionize sizing by allowing customers to visually compare clothing using a patented algorithm and a virtual wardrobe concept. The primary difference lies in the reliance on merchant-provided data (Smart Size Chart) versus user-generated data and comparative algorithms (SnapSize). Smart Size Chart is a more mature and established solution, evidenced by its numerous positive reviews. SnapSize, being newer with zero reviews at the time of this comparison, presents a potentially disruptive but unproven alternative. It relies on customer adoption of its virtual wardrobe and sharing features, which may pose a higher barrier to entry compared to the established size chart method.

Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a proven, easily implementable solution to reduce returns related to sizing, Smart Size Chart & Size Guide is the clear choice. Its positive reviews, customizable templates, and focus on branding make it a safe and effective option. Merchants valuing established solutions and ease of use will strongly prefer it.
SnapSize ‑ Snap, Pick and Buy represents a more experimental approach. While its visual comparison and virtual wardrobe concept is intriguing, its lack of reviews and reliance on user adoption make it a riskier choice. It may appeal to merchants who want to be on the cutting edge and are willing to invest in educating and incentivizing their customers to use the app. The success of SnapSize hinges on critical mass adoption by the customer base to build a functional wardrobe of clothing for comparison shopping.
