Smart Size Chart & Size Guide vs Tabs Studiofor Shopify (2026)
Both Smart Size Chart & Size Guide and Tabs Studio are highly-rated (5/5) Shopify apps aimed at improving product display and reducing returns. However, they address different aspects of the product page experience. Smart Size Chart & Size Guide focuses specifically on providing visually appealing and functional size charts. It positions itself as a solution to help customers find the right fit, thereby decreasing returns and boosting sales through improved sizing guidance. It excels in customization options for branding and various size chart templates. Tabs Studio, on the other hand, aims to organize lengthy product descriptions by using tabs or accordions. Tabs Studio targets merchants who want to declutter their product pages and improve navigation by logically organizing information. Its key strength lies in its ability to automatically generate tabs from existing headings and apply shared tabs across multiple products based on various criteria like collection, tag, or vendor. While both apps contribute to a better customer experience, Smart Size Chart & Size Guide is niche and addresses sizing issues, whereas Tabs Studio addresses information organization more broadly. The higher review count of Tabs Studio (167) compared to Smart Size Chart & Size Guide (103) might indicate a broader appeal or longer presence in the Shopify app store.

Our Verdict
The best app for a merchant depends heavily on their specific needs. If a store primarily struggles with sizing-related returns and customer inquiries, Smart Size Chart & Size Guide is the clear winner. Its focus on creating visually appealing and accurate size charts directly addresses this problem. Merchants selling apparel, shoes, or jewelry, where accurate sizing is crucial, will benefit significantly from this app.
On the other hand, if a store has extensive product descriptions that overwhelm customers and make it difficult to find key information, Tabs Studio is the better choice. It simplifies product pages by organizing content into easily digestible tabs and accordions. It's particularly well-suited for merchants with a diverse product catalog and complex product specifications. A store could potentially use both apps if they have both long descriptions and sizing concerns, but they address separate issues.
