Smart Size Chart & Size Guide vs Visionz ‑ Easy Product Optionsfor Shopify (2026)
Smart Size Chart & Size Guide and Visionz ‑ Easy Product Options, while both falling under the 'Custom products' category on Shopify, cater to distinct needs of merchants. Smart Size Chart & Size Guide focuses squarely on solving the sizing problem in apparel, footwear, and similar industries. Its strength lies in providing visually appealing, customizable, and responsive size charts, aimed at reducing returns and improving the shopping experience by helping customers find the right fit. The app emphasizes ease of use, broad template support, and multi-language capabilities. Visionz ‑ Easy Product Options, on the other hand, addresses the limitations of Shopify's built-in variant system. It empowers merchants to offer an unlimited number of product options, along with dynamic pricing based on customer inputs. Its core value proposition is its ability to create highly customizable product configurators, making it ideal for businesses selling products with variable dimensions or offering extensive personalization, such as custom-made furniture or engraved jewelry. While design customization is a feature, it's secondary to the functional aspect of product configuration and price calculation.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with apparel, footwear, or jewelry, and seeking to reduce returns due to sizing issues, Smart Size Chart & Size Guide is the clear choice. Its focus on visually appealing, easily manageable size charts directly addresses the sizing problem. The large number of positive reviews (103) provides confidence in its effectiveness.
Visionz ‑ Easy Product Options is better suited for businesses that require complex product customization and dynamic pricing based on customer input. If you sell configurable products like furniture, engravings, or anything requiring custom dimensions, Visionz is the better solution, despite having only one review. While the low review count should be noted, the feature set aligns perfectly with complex product configuration needs.
