Our Verdict
SmartBot is the superior choice for merchants who need to automate customer service, provide 24/7 support, and personalize the shopping experience. Its AI chatbot can handle a wide range of customer inquiries, freeing up human agents for more complex issues. However, if the primary goal is to boost AOV through strategic pricing and product bundling, then Zoorix is the better option. Its focus on volume discounts, tiered pricing, and AI-powered cross-selling offers a targeted approach to increasing order value.
While Zoorix boasts a slightly higher rating and more reviews, the choice depends entirely on the merchant's specific needs. A store overwhelmed with customer inquiries and looking for automation will find SmartBot more valuable, while a store struggling with low AOV will benefit more from Zoorix's bundling and cross-selling capabilities.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Based on descriptions, both apps claim fast setup. However, Zoorix specifically mentions "effortless setup" and compatibility with latest themes and native carts, suggesting it might be slightly simpler for non-technical users, though SmartBot's guided setup probably mitigates complexity.
Can both apps be used together?
Potentially, but with overlap. SmartBot's AI can recommend products, similar to Zoorix's cross-selling. Using both might create redundant recommendations and confuse customers. It's crucial to carefully configure them to avoid conflicts and ensure a seamless user experience.
Which app is better for a new Shopify store?
Zoorix might be more beneficial for a new store. Focusing on AOV through bundles and cross-sells can quickly improve revenue. Customer service automation is valuable, but less critical in the early stages with fewer customers. As the store grows, SmartBot becomes increasingly important.
Does either app support multi-currency?
Zoorix explicitly states multi-currency support, while SmartBot does not explicitly mention it in the provided information. Therefore, Zoorix is the safer choice for stores selling internationally.
What happens if both apps recommend the same product?
This could confuse customers. Careful configuration is needed. For example, one could use Zoorix for cross-sells on product pages and SmartBot for post-purchase recommendations to avoid overlap and ensure a smooth buying experience.
