Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants in 2026, the choice depends heavily on their specific needs. If image optimization is the primary goal, and the merchant prefers a focused solution likely leveraging AI, SpeedSize AI‑Image Optimizer may be preferable. The relatively high rating suggests satisfactory performance. However, merchants needing a more comprehensive SEO toolkit to manage various aspects of their store's search engine optimization, especially those valuing features like broken link management, sitemap generation, and content enhancement via AI, Tiny SEO Speed Image Optimizer is the stronger option. The significantly higher review count builds confidence in its reliability and effectiveness, despite a possibly more complicated interface.
For a small business owner just starting, Tiny SEO's breadth of features, particularly the AI content generation and user-friendly approach, will likely be more valuable for achieving quick SEO wins. For larger businesses with dedicated SEO resources, the focused approach of SpeedSize may integrate into their workflow effectively. Ultimately, the decision hinges on the breadth and depth of SEO functionality the merchant requires.
