Our Verdict
If you actively maintain a blog on your Shopify store and struggle with managing comments through the Shopify admin, Sunny ‑ Blog Comment Manager offers a compelling solution with its email-based approach. Its built-in spam blocker is a significant advantage. However, the limited number of reviews and lower rating compared to XO Insert Code should be considered. If your primary need is to add custom code (like Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or custom CSS) to your Shopify store without directly editing theme files, XO Insert Code is the clear winner. Its significantly higher rating and large number of reviews indicate greater user satisfaction and reliability for its intended purpose.
Ultimately, the choice depends on your specific needs. If your needs are for managing a blog, Sunny offers an interesting proposition, despite lower ratings; if you need to add code for tracking or customization, XO Insert Code is a better choice.
