Our Verdict
Merchants should choose Tradedoubler Grow if their primary goal is to expand their reach and acquire new customers through an affiliate marketing program. It's ideal for businesses comfortable with commission-based advertising and seeking to tap into existing networks of affiliates and influencers. However, the extremely low rating and minimal reviews should give merchants serious pause. On the other hand, Zigpoll Customer Surveys is the superior choice for merchants prioritizing understanding their existing customer base, improving customer experience, and optimizing marketing efforts based on direct feedback. The high rating and numerous reviews suggest a reliable and effective tool for gathering and analyzing customer data. Unless Tradedoubler Grow dramatically improves its user feedback and features, Zigpoll is the clear winner.
Common Questions
Which app is better for acquiring new customers?
Tradedoubler Grow is specifically designed for acquiring new customers through affiliate marketing partnerships. Zigpoll's focus is on improving the customer experience and increasing conversion rates of existing site visitors, but does not directly acquire new customers.
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Both apps claim to be easy to set up with no-code solutions. Tradedoubler Grow touts automatic deployment and configuration. Zigpoll boasts a no-code setup in seconds, but the reviews favor Zigpoll significantly.
Which app provides better data and insights?
Zigpoll provides insights through zero-party data collected from surveys and AI-powered analytics, giving you a deeper understanding of your customers' motivations and pain points. Tradedoubler Grow provides performance data related to affiliate marketing campaigns, such as traffic, conversion rates, and ROAS.
Which app is better for improving conversion rates?
While both *could* impact conversion rates, Zigpoll Customer Surveys is specifically designed to improve conversion rates by identifying and addressing customer pain points through survey feedback. Tradedoubler Grow impacts conversion rates through affiliate marketing efforts, but it's a more indirect approach.
Should I be concerned about the drastically different ratings?
Yes. The extremely low rating (1.5/5) and low number of reviews (3) for Tradedoubler Grow is a serious red flag. The high rating (5/5) and large number of reviews (417) for Zigpoll Customer Surveys indicate a much more reliable and well-received app.
