Verifast AI Chatbot +Sales Bot vs X‑Elephant: AI Sales Chatbotfor Shopify (2026)
Verifast AI Chatbot +Sales Bot and X‑Elephant: AI Sales Chatbot both fall under the Chat category for Shopify apps, aiming to enhance customer engagement and potentially drive sales through AI-powered chatbot solutions. However, the provided data highlights a significant disparity in user perception. Verifast AI Chatbot +Sales Bot boasts a perfect 5/5 rating based on 62 reviews, indicating high user satisfaction. In contrast, X‑Elephant: AI Sales Chatbot has a lower rating of 3.9/5 with only 4 reviews, suggesting a more mixed or limited reception. This substantial difference in both rating and number of reviews is crucial for merchants considering which chatbot solution to implement. The large difference in the number of reviews suggests Verifast has a wider user base and a more established presence, which often translates to a more mature product with fewer bugs and better support. While X-Elephant might cater to a very specific niche or be a newer entrant, the limited feedback makes it difficult to gauge its overall performance and reliability compared to Verifast. A merchant would likely lean towards the more established application unless they have a very specific need X-Elephant addresses and are willing to take a risk on a less proven solution.

Our Verdict
For most Shopify merchants in 2026, Verifast AI Chatbot +Sales Bot appears to be the safer and more reliable choice based on the available data. Its perfect rating and significantly higher number of reviews suggest a well-received and potentially more robust solution. Merchants prioritizing a proven track record and minimal risk should strongly consider Verifast.
However, X‑Elephant: AI Sales Chatbot might be a viable option for merchants with very specific needs that Verifast doesn't address, or those willing to take a risk on a potentially promising but less established app. The low number of reviews makes it difficult to make a confident recommendation, and users should proceed with caution and thoroughly investigate its features before committing.
Common Questions
Why does Verifast have so many more reviews than X-Elephant?
There could be several reasons. Verifast might have been available for longer, have a wider user base, or be more actively promoted. X-Elephant could be newer, targeting a smaller niche, or experiencing difficulties gaining traction.
Does a higher rating always mean a better app?
Not necessarily, but it's a strong indicator of user satisfaction. A higher rating combined with a substantial number of reviews, like in Verifast's case, suggests a generally positive experience.
Should I avoid X-Elephant entirely?
Not necessarily. If X-Elephant offers a unique feature or functionality not found in Verifast, and you're comfortable with the risk associated with fewer reviews, it might be worth exploring. Thoroughly research its features and potentially contact the developer before making a decision.
What kind of research should I do before choosing a chatbot app?
Read all available reviews, check for recent updates and bug fixes, and see if the developer offers a free trial or demo. Also, consider your specific needs and whether the app aligns with your business goals.
Are both apps GDPR compliant?
The data provided doesn't include GDPR compliance information. It's crucial to check each app's privacy policy and ensure they meet all relevant data protection regulations before installation.
