Whatsapp Marketing & Support vs Wizybot ‑ AI Chatbotfor Shopify (2026)
Both 'Whatsapp Marketing & Support' (BusinessOnBot) and 'Wizybot - AI Chatbot' aim to streamline customer support and boost sales through AI-powered automation. BusinessOnBot focuses on acquisition and reducing CAC across WhatsApp, Instagram, and Email, with a strong emphasis on multi-agent support and AI-driven sales automation (cart recovery, upsells, order updates). Wizybot emphasizes a unified inbox across a broader range of channels (WhatsApp, email, chat, Instagram, Facebook), and leverages AI agents for comprehensive customer support, including order updates, refunds, FAQs, and product recommendations, allowing teams to focus on complex issues. BusinessOnBot emphasizes a proactive approach to converting COD orders to prepaid, which is not a core focus in the features highlighted for Wizybot. Wizybot distinguishes itself by offering a more comprehensive, multi-channel customer support solution within a single platform. Its ability to handle social media comments and DMs, in addition to the other channels, provides a more holistic customer engagement strategy. While both apps provide AI-driven product recommendations, Wizybot highlights this feature more prominently. The key difference lies in BusinessOnBot's emphasis on AI-driven sales automation and multi-agent support versus Wizybot's more comprehensive AI-driven customer support capabilities across multiple channels. In terms of social proof, Wizybot boasts significantly more reviews than 'Whatsapp Marketing & Support', suggesting wider adoption and potentially more robust testing within the Shopify ecosystem, even though 'Whatsapp Marketing & Support' has a perfect rating.

Our Verdict
'Whatsapp Marketing & Support' is best suited for D2C brands prioritizing sales automation across WhatsApp, Instagram, and Email, particularly those focused on reducing customer acquisition cost and optimizing the conversion of COD orders to prepaid. Its multi-agent support capabilities make it a strong choice for brands with larger support teams needing efficient workflow management. However, the lower number of reviews and the less comprehensive channel support are drawbacks.
Wizybot, with its broader channel support and greater number of reviews, is a better option for businesses requiring a unified platform to manage customer interactions across a wider range of touchpoints. Its AI-driven product recommendations and end-to-end customer support capabilities are ideal for businesses looking to scale personalized experiences and improve customer satisfaction. Although it doesn't explicitly highlight COD conversion strategies, its comprehensive feature set and robust user base make it a compelling choice for many Shopify merchants.
