Wizzy AI Search & Filter vs WTS ‑ Year Make Model Searchfor Shopify (2026)
Wizzy AI Search & Filter and WTS ‑ Year Make Model Search both aim to improve search and navigation on Shopify stores, but they cater to vastly different merchant needs. Wizzy focuses on providing a broad, AI-powered search and filtering experience suitable for a wide range of product categories. Its strength lies in its comprehensive feature set, including intelligent search suggestions, dynamic filters, and the ability to optimize the search experience with keyword redirects and personalized recommendations. WTS, on the other hand, is specifically designed for merchants selling parts or products where compatibility based on Year, Make, and Model is crucial, primarily in the automotive or similar industries. The primary difference lies in their focus. Wizzy is a general-purpose search and filter solution, aiming to enhance product discovery across a broad spectrum of stores. WTS is highly specialized, offering a fitment widget to help customers find the correct parts based on vehicle specifications. While both fall under the "Search and Navigation" and "Search and Filters" categories on Shopify, their core functionality and target audience are distinct. The significantly higher rating and review count for Wizzy suggest a stronger positive user experience and broader applicability. WTS's lower rating and fewer reviews may indicate more niche use or potential areas for improvement.

Our Verdict
For the vast majority of Shopify merchants seeking to improve their store's search functionality and overall user experience, Wizzy AI Search & Filter is the clear choice. Its higher rating, significantly more reviews, and broader feature set make it a more reliable and versatile option. The AI-powered search, customizable filters, and features like 404 page optimization offer a comprehensive solution for enhancing product discovery and boosting conversion rates.
However, if you specifically sell auto parts, hardware, or other products where compatibility depends on Year, Make, and Model, WTS ‑ Year Make Model Search is the more appropriate tool. While it has a lower rating and fewer reviews, its specialized functionality is essential for merchants in these industries. Merchants considering WTS should carefully evaluate its ease of use and data management capabilities, given the lower satisfaction reported.
