Yanet: Returns and Exchanges vs Zapiet ‑ Pickup + Deliveryfor Shopify (2026)
Yanet: Returns and Exchanges and Zapiet ‑ Pickup + Delivery, while both having excellent 4.9/5 ratings and sharing the 'Shipping' category on the Shopify app store, cater to fundamentally different merchant needs. Yanet focuses on streamlining the returns and exchanges process, offering merchants tools to define return policies, manage requests, and keep customers informed. It aims to improve customer satisfaction by simplifying a potentially frustrating experience and reducing the administrative burden on the merchant. Zapiet, on the other hand, addresses the logistics of order fulfillment by enabling merchants to offer diverse delivery options, including in-store pickup and local delivery, alongside standard shipping. Zapiet empowers merchants to manage their delivery operations efficiently, from setting delivery zones and time slots to integrating with point-of-sale systems and delivery providers. It’s designed to enhance the customer experience by providing flexible and convenient delivery choices while also reducing waste and optimizing costs for the business. The significant difference in the number of reviews (224 for Yanet vs. 1365 for Zapiet) suggests Zapiet may be more established or have a broader user base. Yanet’s customization options for the return portal indicate a focus on brand consistency and potentially higher value for merchants with strong branding.

Our Verdict
For merchants struggling with managing returns and exchanges and aiming to improve customer satisfaction in this area, Yanet: Returns and Exchanges is the clear choice. Its focus on policy customization and a branded return portal makes it ideal for businesses seeking to create a seamless and positive return experience. Conversely, Zapiet ‑ Pickup + Delivery is the better option for merchants looking to optimize their delivery operations, offer flexible fulfillment options, and reduce shipping costs. Its robust features for managing delivery zones, time slots, and integrations make it suitable for businesses with complex delivery needs or those offering in-store pickup and local delivery services. If you need both return management and delivery options consider if either app has third party integrations with other apps that can handle the functionality it lacks.
Common Questions
Which app is better for a small business with limited technical expertise?
Both apps aim for ease of use, but Zapiet's focus on a single dashboard for delivery management might be slightly easier to grasp initially, depending on the complexity of delivery options offered. Yanet's customizable portal could require some design input.
Can either app integrate with accounting software?
The provided descriptions do not mention direct integration with accounting software. However, Zapiet does mention integrations with Zapier and Shopify Flow which could potentially be used to connect with accounting systems indirectly. Consult the specific app documentation for the latest integrations.
Which app is more suitable for international businesses?
Both app descriptions provide little information on features geared specifically for international businesses (e.g. multilingual support or currency conversion). Yanet's connection to shipping carriers suggests functionality applicable internationally, while Zapiet's focus on delivery zones could be relevant. Further research into each app's detailed feature set is needed to answer this conclusively.
Does either app offer free trial periods?
The provided data does not include pricing or free trial information. Consult the app listings on the Shopify App Store for this information.
If I offer both in-store pickup and need a streamlined return process, do I need both apps?
Potentially. Zapiet handles the in-store pickup logistics, while Yanet manages returns. Using both would provide a complete solution. However, check if either app offers limited functionality of the other. For example, Zapiet *might* have basic return support through integrations, which could negate the need for Yanet, or vice versa. You can also seek out third party apps to bridge the gap between the two apps.
