Affiniv NPS, Survey & Feedback vs Census: Customer Surveysfor Shopify (2026)
Both Affiniv NPS, Survey & Feedback and Census: Customer Surveys are Shopify apps designed to help merchants gather customer feedback through surveys. While both apps boast a perfect 5/5 rating, Census: Customer Surveys has significantly more reviews (23) compared to Affiniv NPS, Survey & Feedback (4). This suggests that Census: Customer Surveys has a larger user base and potentially more community feedback informing its development. Therefore, it potentially has a better chance of offering a greater number of available integrations. Given the limited information, we can only infer potential target audiences. Affiniv NPS, Survey & Feedback, with its focus on NPS (Net Promoter Score), might be specifically tailored towards merchants who prioritize measuring and improving customer loyalty and advocacy. Census: Customer Surveys, without a specific named feature, could be aimed at a broader audience seeking general customer feedback through various survey types. This difference in focus means that merchants would have to weigh the importance of NPS scores versus a broader array of possible survey options. The difference in review count is a key factor. More reviews usually indicate a more mature product with more real-world testing and iterations. However, a newer app like Affiniv NPS, Survey & Feedback could have a simpler, more streamlined interface or a focus on specific advanced features missing in the other option, although this is speculation based on the limited data.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily interested in measuring and improving their Net Promoter Score (NPS), Affiniv NPS, Survey & Feedback may be a suitable choice, especially if they prefer a potentially newer and more streamlined interface. However, the low number of reviews means there's less community feedback and potentially less robust feature testing.
Census: Customer Surveys, with its significantly higher review count, appears to be a more established and widely used app. It is likely a better choice for merchants seeking a general customer survey solution with a broader range of features and potentially more integrations. Unless a merchant specifically needs NPS features, the established user base of Census: Customer Surveys makes it the more reliable choice.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Without user reviews specifically mentioning ease of use, it's difficult to say definitively. Affiniv NPS, Survey & Feedback, with its narrower focus, *might* be simpler, but Census: Customer Surveys' larger user base could also mean better documentation and support.
Which app offers better value for money?
Without pricing information, it's impossible to determine which app offers better value. Merchants should compare pricing plans and features offered within each plan to assess value.
Which app has better customer support?
The review counts suggest Census: Customer Surveys might have more resources dedicated to customer support due to its larger user base, but this is not confirmed. Neither review data includes information on support.
Which app is more suitable for large enterprises?
Census: Customer Surveys, with its larger user base and potentially more robust feature set, is *potentially* more suitable for large enterprises. However, it depends on the specific needs of the enterprise.
Which app is more likely to be updated with new features and integrations?
A larger user base typically encourages more frequent updates and feature additions. Therefore, Census: Customer Surveys may be more likely to be updated and integrated with other Shopify apps. But, again, that isn't explicitly mentioned.
