Aunoa CRM and Support Agents vs Commslayer ‑ Helpdesk & Chatfor Shopify (2026)
Aunoa CRM and Support Agents and Commslayer ‑ Helpdesk & Chat both aim to centralize customer support interactions from various channels into a single helpdesk within Shopify. However, they differ significantly in their current market validation and feature sets. Aunoa promises to improve customer support quality and boost online sales by providing real-time support, but currently lacks any user reviews or ratings. On the other hand, Commslayer, developed by the ex-Lifetimely founders, is already a well-regarded app with a perfect 5/5 rating based on 56 reviews. Commslayer focuses on efficiency and automation, offering features like AI-drafted replies, spam comment filtering, and direct order management within the helpdesk. This targets merchants who need to streamline their support processes and are comfortable relying on AI to augment their team's capabilities. Aunoa, while promising similar centralization, lacks the specific AI-powered features and established user base of Commslayer. Its positioning seems to be more broadly about 'real-time and effective responses' without highlighting unique functionalities beyond channel integration. The claim of 'CRM' in Aunoa's name is not supported by feature details, so its capabilities for customer relationship management are unclear based on the provided information.

Our Verdict
Currently, Commslayer ‑ Helpdesk & Chat appears to be the safer choice for most Shopify merchants looking for a helpdesk solution in 2026. Its established user base, perfect rating, and specific features like AI-drafted replies and integrated order management provide tangible benefits. Merchants who want a proven solution with advanced features should opt for Commslayer.
Aunoa CRM and Support Agents might be a worthwhile option only for merchants willing to take a risk on a brand-new app with no user feedback. If Aunoa significantly undercuts Commslayer on price or develops unique, compelling features not present in other helpdesks, it could become a contender. However, until it demonstrates a track record of performance and user satisfaction, Commslayer remains the superior choice.
