Bazar Pre Purchase Surveys vs DingAI – Surveys That Sellfor Shopify (2026)
Bazar Pre Purchase Surveys and DingAI – Surveys That Sell both aim to enhance the customer experience and drive sales through surveys on Shopify, but they approach it with fundamentally different strategies and target distinct merchant profiles. Bazar focuses on pre-purchase data collection via incentivized pop-up surveys, offering merchants a way to gather customer insights, capture emails, and potentially expand reach through affiliate marketing. It's positioned as an easy-to-implement tool for understanding customer needs and preferences early in the buying journey. However, its lack of reviews raises concerns about its reliability and effectiveness. The promise to promote the user's store through its own email channel is a strength. In contrast, DingAI leverages AI technology with a built-in chatbot to engage with visitors in real-time. Its core strength lies in providing immediate support and guidance to shoppers, aiming to convert browsing into purchases. The AI agent actively assists visitors through the sales funnel, from product interest to checkout. With a perfect rating and a substantial number of reviews, DingAI appears to be a well-regarded solution for merchants seeking proactive, AI-driven sales assistance. The apps cater to different needs: Bazar focuses on understanding customers *before* purchase, while DingAI focuses on assisting them *during* the purchase process.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily interested in gathering customer data and building an email list, Bazar Pre Purchase Surveys *might* be a viable option, especially given its claimed ease of use. However, the complete lack of reviews is a significant red flag in 2026; prospective users should proceed with extreme caution and seek further validation before committing. The promise of affiliate marketing via their email channel might appeal to merchants.
DingAI – Surveys That Sell is the clear recommendation for merchants prioritizing sales and customer engagement during the shopping experience. Its AI-powered chatbot and high rating indicate a robust and well-regarded solution for providing real-time support and guiding customers through the purchasing process. This is especially pertinent in 2026, where AI-driven assistance will be more commonplace and expected by online shoppers.
Common Questions
Which app is better for understanding why customers abandon their carts?
Bazar can potentially identify reasons *before* the cart is even created, by uncovering needs. DingAI engages visitors *during* the shopping experience with AI-driven support and guidance, offering a chance to overcome objections that might lead to abandonment.
Does either app offer post-purchase survey options?
Based on the provided descriptions, neither app explicitly mentions post-purchase survey functionality. Bazar focuses on *pre*-purchase surveys while DingAI focuses on *during* purchase assistance.
Is coding required to use either app?
Bazar explicitly states 'No coding required'. DingAI's description doesn't explicitly mention coding, but configuration of an AI chatbot might require some technical expertise or integration efforts, depending on the level of customization desired.
Which app is better for small businesses with limited resources?
DingAI, despite being AI powered, seems to offer a more immediate ROI by increasing conversions, this outweighs the set up cost. Bazar is cheaper, but the value it provides is questionable
How accurate and reliable are the insights generated by each app?
The accuracy and reliability of Bazar's insights depend on the quality of the survey questions and the honesty of the respondents. Without reviews, it's hard to say how good it is. DingAI's insights would be based on AI analysis of user interactions, potentially offering real-time adjustments but also reliant on the effectiveness of its AI algorithms. The high rating of DingAI suggests that other users have found the AI reliable. The reliability of Bazar is unproven.
