Our Verdict
For merchants primarily focused on general brand awareness, communicating news, and promoting a variety of products or offers on a scheduled basis, B&S ‑ Announcement Bar is the better choice. The high rating and positive reviews, along with its emphasis on visual design and scheduling, make it a reliable option for businesses seeking to maintain consistent communication and engagement.
However, if the main goal is to create a sense of urgency and drive immediate sales through time-sensitive promotions, Smartarget Urgency Deal might be worth considering. While it lacks reviews and ratings at the moment, its focused functionality could be valuable for businesses prioritizing short-term conversion boosts. Merchants should be aware of the risk associated with trying an app with no reviews. Carefully evaluate the need for urgency-based marketing before choosing this app. It would be wise to await reviews if possible.
