BS Flash Deals vs COD King‑COD Fees & OTP Verifyfor Shopify (2026)
BS Flash Deals and COD King-COD Fees & OTP Verify are both Shopify apps in the Notifications - Other category, but they target entirely different merchant needs and have vastly different levels of user validation. BS Flash Deals aims to boost sales and engagement through customizable flash deals and a notification bell system. It is positioned as an easy way to create urgency and incentivize purchases. COD King, on the other hand, focuses on reducing losses from failed deliveries and fraudulent orders related to Cash on Delivery (COD). It offers features like OTP verification, upfront/partial payments, and COD fee implementation. The core difference lies in their value proposition. BS Flash Deals aims to *increase* sales, while COD King focuses on *protecting* revenue by minimizing losses associated with COD orders. BS Flash Deals targets merchants looking to implement promotional strategies, whereas COD King caters to merchants, especially those in regions like India and Egypt, heavily reliant on COD and struggling with high return-to-origin (RTO) rates and fake orders. The user confidence in COD King is far higher than BS Flash Deals due to the large number of reviews and perfect score, which is not a sign of a well established App.

Our Verdict
COD King is the clear choice for merchants experiencing significant issues with COD orders, RTO rates, and fraudulent purchases, especially in supported regions like India and Egypt. The high rating and numerous reviews strongly suggest it effectively addresses these problems. On the other hand, BS Flash Deals is a riskier choice given its complete lack of reviews. While the concept of flash deals is generally appealing, the absence of any user feedback makes it difficult to assess its usability, effectiveness, or reliability. If you are simply looking to boost sales with promotions and willing to be an early adopter, BS Flash Deals might be worth exploring, but proceed with caution and thorough testing. For those aiming to tackle COD-related issues, COD King stands out as the more established and proven solution.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
BS Flash Deals claims easy integration without coding, suggesting a straightforward setup. COD King's setup complexity depends on the features used, but likely involves configuring OTP settings and payment options, potentially requiring more effort.
Which app is more likely to impact conversion rates?
Both apps can impact conversion rates, but in opposite ways. BS Flash Deals aims to *increase* conversions by creating urgency. COD King *might* slightly decrease initial conversions (as some customers might be put off by OTP or upfront payments), but it aims to improve the *quality* of conversions by filtering out unserious buyers.
Is BS Flash Deals likely a Scam App with no reviews?
It is possible, but impossible to say for sure with the limited data provided. A lack of reviews in 2026 is unusual. Before installing, research the developer. Always back up your store before installing new Apps.
What type of support can you expect from each app?
We can only assume. Without reviews for BS Flash Deals, we can't know the support quality. COD King's 5-star rating suggests satisfactory support, but we lack specifics.
Which app offers better value for money?
This depends on the pricing structure (which is not provided) and the specific needs of the merchant. If COD-related issues are costing a lot of money, COD King would likely be a better value. If the BS Flash Deals delivers on its promise of increased sales, it is also a valuable App. It's recommended to compare pricing models and trial periods (if available).
