Census: Customer Surveys vs Quest Surveys & Feedbackfor Shopify (2026)
Choosing between Census: Customer Surveys and Quest Surveys & Feedback in 2026 presents a clear choice based on available data. Census boasts a perfect 5/5 rating based on 23 reviews, suggesting a high level of user satisfaction. In stark contrast, Quest Surveys & Feedback has no ratings or reviews, indicating it's either a very new app or one with potentially significant usability or feature issues that have prevented users from providing feedback. Without further information on Quest's features, Census appears to be the safer, more established, and demonstrably effective option. The primary differentiator based on the provided data is user validation. Census has successfully garnered positive feedback, signifying a working product that delivers value. Quest, lacking reviews, represents a greater risk. Merchants should consider their tolerance for potential issues and the time they're willing to invest in troubleshooting a potentially unproven solution. While Quest might offer innovative features not explicitly mentioned, the absence of any user validation is a significant drawback.

Our Verdict
For most merchants in 2026, Census: Customer Surveys is the clear recommendation. The positive user reviews offer confidence in its functionality and ability to deliver on its promise of collecting customer feedback. Merchants looking for a reliable and well-regarded survey app should choose Census. Quest Surveys & Feedback might be suitable for merchants with a strong appetite for risk, a willingness to thoroughly test and potentially troubleshoot the app, and a belief that it offers a uniquely valuable feature not available in more established solutions. However, the lack of any user validation makes it a considerably less attractive option for most businesses.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to use?
Without direct experience or more data on features, it's impossible to say definitively. However, the positive reviews for Census suggest a user-friendly experience, while Quest's lack of reviews means its usability is unknown.
Which app is more reliable?
Census: Customer Surveys is likely more reliable due to the existing reviews indicating positive user experiences. Quest Surveys & Feedback's reliability is unknown due to the lack of reviews.
Which app is better for a small business?
For most small businesses, Census: Customer Surveys is the safer and likely better option due to its proven track record and positive user feedback. Small businesses typically have less time and resources for troubleshooting untested apps.
What are the potential risks of choosing Quest Surveys & Feedback?
The primary risk is the lack of user validation. The app may have bugs, be difficult to use, or simply not function as intended. Without any reviews, there's no way to assess its reliability or effectiveness before trying it.
Does the 0/5 rating of Quest mean it's a bad app?
Not necessarily. A 0/5 rating with no reviews simply means no one has rated it yet. It could be a brand new app or one that hasn't garnered any user feedback for other reasons. It doesn't automatically equate to a negative experience, just an unproven one.
