Census: Customer Surveys vs SurveyFox: Email & SMS Surveysfor Shopify (2026)
In 2026, choosing between Census: Customer Surveys and SurveyFox: Email & SMS Surveys presents a stark contrast. Census: Customer Surveys, with a perfect 5/5 rating based on 23 reviews, has established itself as a reliable tool for gathering customer feedback. Its positioning seems to be centered around providing a solid survey experience with proven user satisfaction. It lacks information on delivery methods. SurveyFox: Email & SMS Surveys, on the other hand, is entering the market with no reviews or ratings available. While the name suggests a broader reach through both email and SMS channels, its lack of user feedback makes it difficult to ascertain its strengths or target audience accurately. Given the absence of any user data, making definitive claims about its features or capabilities is impossible. The key differentiator explicitly stated is that SurveyFox claims to provide surveys via email and SMS whereas we have no information about the channels that Census uses.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants in 2026, Census: Customer Surveys is the safer, more established choice, especially for those prioritizing reliability and demonstrated user satisfaction. The positive rating and existing reviews suggest a mature product with fewer potential issues.
SurveyFox: Email & SMS Surveys might appeal to merchants looking for broader survey delivery options (email and SMS) and are willing to take a risk on a new, unproven app. However, the lack of any user feedback makes it impossible to recommend without further evidence of its functionality and usability. Unless a merchant has a specific need for SMS surveys and is comfortable being an early adopter, Census represents the lower-risk choice.
