Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants prioritizing efficient and automated customer support with minimal setup effort, Chad: AI Chat Agent + Helpdesk is a viable option. Its strength lies in handling routine inquiries and providing 24/7 self-service support directly on the store website. However, the very low number of reviews in 2026 should raise concern. For merchants seeking a comprehensive solution to drive sales, engagement, and customer support across multiple channels, Whatsapp Marketing & Support presents a more robust choice. It offers features like cart recovery and automated order updates, and allows customer interactions across multiple popular platforms and would likely offer a greater ROI for merchants who already have an audience on those platforms. Note, however, that a larger investment in configuring multi-channel integrations might be required.
