COD King‑COD Fees & OTP Verify vs PopWisefor Shopify (2026)
COD King‑COD Fees & OTP Verify and PopWise address entirely different aspects of optimizing a Shopify store. COD King focuses on reducing Return to Origin (RTO) and Return to Sender (RTS) losses associated with Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, primarily through OTP verification, upfront/partial payments, and COD fee implementation. It's tailored for merchants struggling with unreliable COD orders, particularly in regions like India and Egypt, offering features to convert COD orders to prepaid. PopWise, on the other hand, aims to enhance the overall customer experience by displaying pop-up notifications showcasing social proof, live visitor counts, and promotional offers. The key difference lies in their target outcome: COD King seeks to minimize losses and increase prepaid conversions, while PopWise focuses on boosting engagement and driving sales through social proof and timely notifications. One addresses operational inefficiencies related to COD, while the other enhances the user interface and perceived popularity of the store. COD King is highly specific in its application, while PopWise offers a more generalized approach to store improvement.

Our Verdict
For merchants experiencing significant losses due to unreliable COD orders, particularly in India and Egypt, COD King‑COD Fees & OTP Verify is the clear choice. Its features are specifically designed to address these issues directly. The high rating and substantial number of reviews further support its effectiveness.
PopWise, on the other hand, is better suited for merchants looking to generally improve their store's perceived popularity and drive sales through social proof and engagement. However, the lack of reviews raises concerns. If a merchant needs to solve COD issues, COD King is essential. Otherwise, PopWise might be beneficial, but further investigation of its efficacy is recommended given the lack of social proof.
