Our Verdict
Based on the available data, Commslayer ‑ Helpdesk & Chat presents itself as the more established and feature-rich option for Shopify merchants in 2026. The positive reviews and comprehensive feature set, especially the AI-powered assistance and direct order management, make it suitable for businesses seeking to streamline their customer support operations. The "no limits on agents or tickets" is a massive selling point for growing businesses. Helpwise, while potentially promising, lacks any verifiable data to support a recommendation at this time. Merchants should carefully consider Commslayer first, and only consider Helpwise if specific details emerge that align perfectly with very specific business needs, considering the lack of user feedback.
