Desku: Leading AI Chatbot vs Robo Calls PKfor Shopify (2026)
Desku: Leading AI Chatbot and Robo Calls PK are both Shopify apps in the 'Chat' category, but they cater to drastically different needs. Desku aims to be a comprehensive AI-powered customer support solution, offering omnichannel communication, order management capabilities, and 24/7 AI-driven assistance. Its strength lies in automating customer interactions, providing instant answers, and enhancing sales through personalized product recommendations. It targets eCommerce businesses looking to streamline their support processes and improve customer experience through AI. Robo Calls PK, on the other hand, focuses on a very specific use case: automated order confirmation calls within Pakistan. Its strength lies in reducing order return ratios and verifying order authenticity through automated phone calls. It is clearly aimed at merchants operating in Pakistan who want to verify orders and reduce fraudulent activity. The key distinction lies in their scope and functionality. Desku offers a broad range of AI-driven support features, while Robo Calls PK provides a niche solution for order verification through phone calls. Desku attempts to replace live human agents with AI whereas Robo Calls PK is concerned with the very early stages of the customer journey, order confirmation. The rating difference might seem to favor Robo Calls PK, however, the much higher number of reviews (28 vs. 2) provides Robo Calls PK with a strong backing of its value.

Our Verdict
For merchants looking for a comprehensive AI-driven customer support solution with features like omnichannel communication, order management, and 24/7 AI assistance, Desku: Leading AI Chatbot is the more suitable option. However, given its low number of reviews, it may be a riskier choice than Robo Calls PK. It targets businesses of all sizes that need a robust and scalable AI-powered support system. On the other hand, Robo Calls PK is the clear choice for merchants operating in Pakistan who are specifically seeking a solution to automate order confirmation calls and reduce order returns and fraudulent orders. It is a very niche solution but appears highly effective for its intended purpose.
If a merchant isn't operating in Pakistan, Robo Calls PK simply isn't applicable. If a merchant *is* operating in Pakistan and struggles with fake orders or high return rates, Robo Calls PK is the far better choice. Otherwise, for general customer support, Desku is the correct path. The user should, however, be aware of the lack of reviews for the Desku app.
