DRINKS ASSURE vs Metizsoft AGE VERIFIERfor Shopify (2026)
DRINKS ASSURE and Metizsoft AGE VERIFIER, while both categorized under "Legal" on the Shopify app store, serve distinctly different purposes and target very different merchant profiles. DRINKS ASSURE is a highly specialized solution aimed at alcohol producers and retailers requiring automated tax and compliance within the Shopify checkout process. It focuses on real-time tax calculation, compliance rule management, and reporting, specifically for the complexities of alcohol sales. It positions itself as a comprehensive, 'set-it-and-forget' solution for handling the unique legal and financial demands of the alcoholic beverage industry. Metizsoft AGE VERIFIER, on the other hand, takes a broader approach to legal compliance, focusing primarily on age verification for websites selling age-restricted products. Its core function is to prevent underage visitors from accessing content, offering customizable age verification banners and visitor tracking. It is geared towards businesses selling any product requiring age confirmation, offering a more generic solution for ensuring compliance, not specific to alcohol or any other particular product.
