Essential Free Shipping Upsell vs Quick Quotefor Shopify (2026)
Essential Free Shipping Upsell and Quick Quote, while both categorized under 'Checkout' and 'Cart Customization' on Shopify, cater to fundamentally different merchant needs. Essential Free Shipping Upsell focuses on increasing Average Order Value (AOV) and sales by incentivizing customers to spend more to qualify for free shipping (or other rewards) and incorporating upsells. It targets merchants seeking to boost revenue through strategic cart modifications and customer psychology. Quick Quote, on the other hand, provides a mechanism for customers to request custom quotes for their cart contents, enabling merchants to offer personalized pricing and discounts. This app is geared toward businesses with complex pricing structures, customizable products, or those that cater to wholesale or B2B customers. The primary difference lies in their approach: one aims for instant AOV increases through pre-defined incentives, while the other facilitates negotiation and custom pricing for individual orders.
