Facebook Chat by Elfsight vs Robo Calls PKfor Shopify (2026)
Facebook Chat by Elfsight and Robo Calls PK, while both listed under the 'Chat' category on Shopify, serve fundamentally different purposes. Elfsight's app focuses on live customer engagement via Facebook Messenger, aiming to provide real-time support, answer questions, and ultimately boost conversions. Its value proposition centers around ease of communication and 24/7 availability on a familiar platform. In contrast, Robo Calls PK targets order verification specifically within Pakistan. It automates confirmation calls, allowing customers to confirm, cancel, or request a callback, aiming to reduce order returns and ensure order validity through automated phone calls. The most significant difference lies in their target audience and geographic scope. Facebook Chat by Elfsight appeals to a broad range of e-commerce businesses seeking to improve customer service and engagement globally. Robo Calls PK, on the other hand, is explicitly designed for merchants operating within Pakistan who need a system for order verification using phone calls. The customer experience is also vastly different. Elfsight offers a personalized chat interaction, whereas Robo Calls PK provides a structured, automated phone call experience. The initial data suggests significant differences in perceived user satisfaction, indicated by the stark contrast in ratings and review counts.

Our Verdict
For a Shopify merchant needing to provide real-time customer support via Facebook Messenger to a global audience, Facebook Chat by Elfsight is the appropriate choice, assuming the absence of reviews is due to a new listing rather than poor performance. However, the lack of reviews is a significant red flag. Robo Calls PK is highly specialized and only beneficial for merchants within Pakistan who require automated order confirmation via phone calls. It's the clear choice for that very specific scenario.
Due to the lack of data for Facebook Chat by Elfsight, Robo Calls PK is the safer recommendation *if* a merchant is operating in Pakistan and needs order verification via phone. For any other situation, further research into alternative live chat apps with established user reviews is strongly advised.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Without user reviews or setup guides, it's difficult to definitively say. Facebook Chat by Elfsight likely involves integrating with a Facebook page. Robo Calls PK seems to require setting up a voiceover, which could be more time-consuming.
Which app is better for improving customer satisfaction?
Facebook Chat by Elfsight aims to improve satisfaction through real-time support. Robo Calls PK focuses on order accuracy, which *could* indirectly improve satisfaction by preventing incorrect orders. However, user experience with automated calls can be mixed.
Can I use Robo Calls PK for customer support?
Robo Calls PK is primarily designed for order verification, not general customer support. While it offers a 'request a callback' option, it's not a substitute for a dedicated support system.
Does Facebook Chat by Elfsight work on mobile?
Since it integrates with Facebook Messenger, it inherently works on any device where Messenger is available, including mobile.
Is Robo Calls PK available in other countries?
Based on the description, it appears to be exclusively for Pakistan. The reference to Pakistani customers and the 'PK' in the name strongly suggest this.
