Our Verdict
For merchants seeking to improve their on-site marketing and announce promotions or important information directly on their website, Genius Announcement Bar is an option, though the very low rating and minimal reviews suggest proceeding with extreme caution. Thorough testing is crucial. However, given the current reviews, it is difficult to recommend.
For merchants prioritizing efficient communication with customers through SMS, particularly for order updates, promotions, and building customer relationships, SMS Notify ‑SMS Gateway Center is a much stronger contender based on its higher rating and verified Google SMS Badge. If SMS communication is a key part of the business strategy, SMS Notify appears to be the more reliable and potentially valuable choice. Remember to always test app functionalities to see how well they meet specific needs.
