Our Verdict
If a merchant needs an easy and immediate solution for promoting sales, new products, or blog posts through simple header notifications, Notification PRO is the better choice. Its user-friendly editor and one-click installation make it ideal for merchants looking for a quick win. However, if the merchant is focused on long-term customer engagement and wants to provide a more personalized and controlled notification experience across multiple channels, Inboxhub offers a potentially more powerful solution, albeit with a steeper learning curve and more setup. The lack of reviews for Inboxhub is a significant risk factor, however.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Notification PRO advertises one-click installation and a user-friendly editor, suggesting it's the easier of the two to set up. Inboxhub's description doesn't explicitly state ease of use, and its focus on segmentation implies a more involved configuration process.
Which app is more focused on increasing sales?
Both apps aim to increase sales. Notification PRO directly promotes sales and new products via header notifications. Inboxhub seeks to improve customer engagement with potential for increased sales through personalization, abandoned cart reminders, etc.
Which app offers more control to the customer over notifications?
Inboxhub gives customers control over which notification categories they receive via preference toggles, whereas Notification PRO focuses on one-way communication from the merchant to the customer.
Which app provides better segmentation capabilities?
Inboxhub boasts built-in segmentation and integration with Shopify Segments for hyper-targeted messaging. Notification PRO doesn't mention any segmentation features.
Which app is a safer bet in 2026?
Based solely on the data, Notification PRO is currently the safer bet due to its positive rating and existing reviews. Inboxhub, with no reviews, presents a risk, though it might offer compelling features that justify the uncertainty if its feature set strongly aligns with the merchant's goals.
