Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a proven, easy-to-install solution for subtle yet effective header notifications, Notification PRO is the better choice, leveraging its positive reviews and focus on a seamless shopping experience. If a merchant is willing to take a risk on a new app and needs more versatile notification options, including popups and banners, then Oct: Notifications & Popups could be a good starting point. However, its lack of reviews makes it a riskier proposition in 2026. Merchants should carefully weigh the established reliability of Notification PRO against the potentially greater flexibility of Oct: Notifications & Popups, keeping in mind the absence of any user feedback for the latter.
