Notify Customers vs Postscript SMS Marketingfor Shopify (2026)
Notify Customers and Postscript SMS Marketing both aim to help Shopify merchants engage customers and drive repeat business through SMS marketing campaigns. Notify Customers positions itself as a straightforward solution for reminding customers of a business's existence and promoting offers through texts. Its strength lies in its simplicity and ease of use, catering to merchants seeking a no-frills SMS marketing solution. Postscript, on the other hand, aims for broader appeal with a wider set of features, as suggested by its significantly larger user base, reflected in the vastly higher review count. It implies a more comprehensive approach, potentially suitable for businesses with more complex marketing needs. The main differentiating factor between the two apps, based on the limited data available, is the maturity of their user base and adoption within the Shopify ecosystem.

Our Verdict
Choosing between Notify Customers and Postscript SMS Marketing hinges on the scale and complexity of your business and SMS marketing needs. If you're a smaller business prioritizing ease of use and quick implementation, Notify Customers might be a good starting point, allowing you to quickly send out reminders and promotions via SMS. However, the very low number of reviews should raise a flag. For larger businesses with more sophisticated marketing strategies and a willingness to invest in a platform with a proven track record, Postscript SMS Marketing, supported by a significantly larger user base and higher number of reviews (despite a slightly lower rating) appears to be a safer and more robust choice. Ultimately, due diligence would involve seeking further information about Postscript's feature set before committing to a decision.
