Notify Customers vs Splio: Marketing Automationfor Shopify (2026)
Notify Customers and Splio: Marketing Automation are both SMS marketing apps for Shopify, but cater to different needs and levels of sophistication. Notify Customers positions itself as a simple and direct SMS marketing solution focused on re-engaging existing customers. Its strength lies in its ease of use and immediate value proposition: sending targeted SMS campaigns to boost repeat business. It seems designed for smaller businesses seeking a quick and effective way to communicate with their customer base through text messages. Splio, on the other hand, is a comprehensive CRM platform with marketing automation capabilities, including SMS marketing. It emphasizes data unification, advanced segmentation, and multi-channel engagement. Splio aims to provide a holistic view of the customer and orchestrate personalized experiences across email, SMS, and push notifications. This makes it ideal for larger businesses or those with more complex marketing needs who want to leverage customer data to drive loyalty and increase lifetime value. The key difference lies in the scope: Notify Customers focuses solely on SMS, while Splio provides a broader CRM and marketing automation suite.

Our Verdict
For merchants looking for a straightforward and easy-to-use SMS marketing solution to quickly re-engage customers, Notify Customers is the better choice. Its simplicity and focused feature set allow for rapid implementation and immediate results. The app is very new, so the low review count should be considered, but its 5/5 rating is promising.
However, if you require a comprehensive CRM and marketing automation platform to manage customer data, orchestrate multi-channel campaigns, and build loyalty programs, Splio is the more suitable option. While it may have a steeper learning curve, its advanced features and capabilities can deliver significant long-term value. Although Splio currently has no reviews, its feature set suggests a more powerful and scalable solution for businesses with complex marketing strategies. The 'zero' ratings and lack of reviews are a concern and should be addressed by the Splio vendor to build trust with potential customers.
