Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants seeking a straightforward, user-friendly app to send promotional SMS campaigns and foster repeat business, Notify Customers appears to be the better choice. Its 5-star rating, though based on a limited number of reviews, suggests a positive user experience. If a merchant's primary goal is to automate order-related SMS notifications (new order, fulfillment, cancellation) and recover abandoned carts with targeted discounts, Twilio: Order Alert & Bulk SMS is more suitable. The lower rating suggests potential usability issues or areas for improvement, but the wider range of automated features makes it a stronger contender for merchants prioritizing efficiency and order management through SMS.
