OSOM Post Purchase Surveys vs Zigpoll Customer Surveysfor Shopify (2026)
OSOM Post Purchase Surveys and Zigpoll Customer Surveys both aim to help Shopify merchants understand their customers better through surveys. However, they differ significantly in their breadth of features and level of social proof. OSOM focuses primarily on post-purchase surveys within the checkout or order view and emphasizes ease of use and customer support, making it potentially suitable for smaller merchants looking for a quick and simple solution. Zigpoll, on the other hand, offers a more comprehensive survey solution, encompassing pre-purchase, post-purchase, NPS, on-site, email, and SMS surveys, along with AI analytics and integrations with other marketing tools. Zigpoll's feature set caters to merchants seeking in-depth customer insights across various touchpoints and wanting to integrate survey data with their existing marketing ecosystem. The significant difference in the number of reviews (1 vs. 417) indicates that Zigpoll has a much larger user base and, likely, a more established presence in the market. While both apps promise to gather customer feedback and improve the customer journey, their approaches and intended audiences differ considerably.

Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a straightforward and rapidly deployable post-purchase survey solution with minimal complexity, OSOM Post Purchase Surveys could be a viable option, especially if quick customer support is a priority. However, the lack of reviews raises concerns about its reliability and feature completeness. Zigpoll Customer Surveys, with its significantly larger user base and comprehensive suite of survey types and integrations, is better suited for merchants who require a more robust and versatile solution for gathering customer insights across multiple touchpoints and integrating that data with their marketing ecosystem. Given the significant difference in social proof and feature set, Zigpoll is generally the better choice for most merchants, unless simplicity and immediate deployment are paramount.
