Our Verdict
For Shopify Plus merchants seeking deep theme editor integration and advanced AI-powered search with comprehensive merchandising control, Prefixbox AI Search Bar Filter is the stronger choice. Its explicit support for Shopify Markets further strengthens its appeal for international businesses. However, merchants who prioritize ease of use, speed, and highly customizable filters for a broader product range (especially those with over 1 million products) should strongly consider RS: Smart Search Bar & Filter. The higher review count for RS also suggests greater overall satisfaction across a wider user base, despite the slightly lower rating. Ultimately, the decision hinges on the merchant's specific needs, technical capabilities, and growth strategy.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and use?
RS: Smart Search Bar & Filter likely offers a simpler setup due to its focus on ease of use and broad compatibility. Prefixbox, with its deeper theme editor integration and AI features, may require more configuration.
Which app is better for a store with a large product catalog?
