Our Verdict
Prefixbox AI Search Bar Filter is the clear choice for established Shopify Plus stores seeking to optimize their existing search functionality with advanced AI and merchandising capabilities. Its mature feature set, deep customization options, and proven track record (as indicated by its rating and reviews) make it a powerful tool for boosting conversions. However, the complexity and likely higher cost mean it may not be suitable for smaller merchants.
Sauja AI Chat & Product Search, being a new and currently free app, is a worthwhile experiment for merchants of all sizes looking for a novel, chat-based approach to product discovery. While it lacks the established reputation and extensive feature set of Prefixbox, its user-friendly interface and focus on visual product presentation could be a good fit for stores aiming to provide a modern, interactive shopping experience. Merchants should be aware that Sauja is new and its effectiveness is yet to be validated through user reviews.
