Our Verdict
Prefixbox AI Search Bar Filter is the clear choice for Shopify Plus merchants looking to enhance their general product search experience with AI-powered features, customizable filtering, and merchandising options. Its deep integration with the Shopify Theme Editor allows for easy customization and design. However, its broad focus might not be suitable for stores with highly specific fitment needs. SearchAuto: Fitment Lookup, on the other hand, is purpose-built for automotive parts and accessories retailers. Its strength lies in providing precise fitment validation, category-specific qualifiers, and dedicated support from automotive eCommerce veterans. While its implementation requires contacting the SearchAuto support team, the highly specialized functionality and industry-specific expertise make it invaluable for businesses needing a robust fitment lookup solution.
