Our Verdict
Prefixbox AI Search Bar Filter is the clear choice for Shopify Plus merchants requiring an advanced, AI-driven search and filtering solution with extensive customization and merchandising options. Its high rating and numerous positive reviews indicate a strong user experience and effective features. The mention of metaobject, metafield, and product option support, alongside the Shopify Theme Editor integration, confirms it is a comprehensive, deeply integrated solution. SEMA Data Plugin, with its extremely low rating and lack of detailed feature information, is difficult to recommend. A potential user should investigate it thoroughly, including testing it in a development store, before considering it for a live environment. It could be suited to the most basic stores, but at the time of review is not fit for stores that need robust search features.
