Product Samples by Luke vs Quotify: Request a Quotefor Shopify (2026)
Product Samples by Luke and Quotify: Request a Quote are both Shopify apps focused on pricing, but they cater to very different needs. Product Samples by Luke aims to increase sales and reduce returns by allowing customers to order samples before committing to a full-sized product. Its value proposition centers around customer satisfaction and ensuring product suitability for both merchant and buyer. Quotify, on the other hand, is geared towards B2B stores and those needing custom pricing. It enables customers to request quotes, allowing merchants to tailor pricing to individual order requirements. Quotify's strength lies in its quote management features, lead capture capabilities, and integration with other business tools. While Product Samples focuses on a standardized 'try before you buy' experience, Quotify offers a highly customizable quoting process. Quotify allows merchants to build their own quote forms, translate the app into multiple languages, and send personalized proposals which can automatically convert to orders. Product Samples by Luke appears to offer a more streamlined experience with a focus on detailed app metrics. The choice between the two hinges on whether the merchant needs a solution for offering product samples or a full-fledged quote request and management system.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily selling directly to consumers (B2C) who want to reduce returns and allow customers to 'try before they buy', Product Samples by Luke is the better choice. Its simplicity and focus on sample orders make it easy to implement. On the other hand, if a merchant's business relies on custom pricing, handles a lot of B2B sales, or needs to collect detailed information before providing pricing, Quotify: Request a Quote is the superior option. Its robust quote management features and integration capabilities are tailored to complex sales processes. While Product Samples by Luke has a slightly higher rating, Quotify has more reviews, indicating a potentially wider user base.
