Shoply AI Search & AI Chatbot vs Whatsapp Marketing & Supportfor Shopify (2026)
Shoply AI Search & AI Chatbot and Whatsapp Marketing & Support both aim to improve customer experience and drive sales, but they approach this goal with distinct strategies and target different aspects of the customer journey. Shoply positions itself as a comprehensive product expert, focusing on enhancing product discovery and providing personalized shopping advice through AI-powered search and recommendations. Its strength lies in its ability to autonomously learn a store's catalog and provide accurate, multilingual support. In contrast, Whatsapp Marketing & Support focuses on leveraging communication channels, particularly WhatsApp, Instagram, and email, for marketing, support, and sales. It emphasizes automation of campaigns, cart recovery, and order updates to reduce workload and improve conversions. The primary difference lies in their core functionalities. Shoply excels at on-site product discovery and expert shopping guidance, while Whatsapp Marketing & Support concentrates on off-site engagement and streamlined communication across various channels. Shoply is designed for merchants seeking to improve on-site search relevance and provide personalized product recommendations, especially those with large or complex product catalogs. Whatsapp Marketing & Support, on the other hand, is more suitable for merchants who prioritize proactive communication with customers via popular messaging platforms to drive sales and improve customer retention.
