DingAI – Surveys That Sell vs Feedback Boxfor Shopify (2026)
DingAI – Surveys That Sell and Feedback Box are both Shopify apps utilizing surveys, but they serve fundamentally different purposes. DingAI positions itself as a sales-driving AI agent that uses a built-in chatbot to interact with visitors in real-time, guiding them towards purchase. Its core strength lies in proactive engagement and AI-powered sales assistance. It targets merchants looking to directly increase sales through live, AI-driven interactions on their storefront. Feedback Box, on the other hand, focuses on gathering post-purchase customer feedback to improve products and services. Its strength is collecting insights immediately after a sale, when the customer experience is fresh in their mind. It primarily targets merchants interested in understanding their customer base and refining their offerings based on feedback. The two apps essentially address different parts of the customer journey: DingAI before the purchase, Feedback Box after.

Our Verdict
DingAI – Surveys That Sell is best suited for merchants prioritizing immediate sales growth through proactive, AI-driven customer engagement. Its AI chatbot aims to guide visitors through the purchase process in real-time. However, the lack of user reviews could be a risk. Feedback Box, while currently unrated, is a better choice for merchants who want to deeply understand their customer experience post-purchase and use that feedback to improve their products and services. The choice depends on whether the priority is driving immediate sales or gathering insights for long-term improvement.
Considering the limited information, and given DingAI's 5-star rating across 63 reviews (compared to Feedback Box's lack of reviews), DingAI appears to have found product-market fit, even if its purpose is different. However, if a merchant already has strong sales and seeks to optimize their post-purchase experience, Feedback Box could be the better option – assuming it gains positive reviews and a good rating.
