Our Verdict
Formateca Emails is better suited for merchants who value aesthetics and brand consistency in their email communications and are willing to invest in a visually appealing email experience. The curated templates and customization options are ideal for brands wanting to present a polished image. Sendly Whatsapp message orders, while lacking initial reviews, caters to merchants who prioritize immediacy and direct engagement through WhatsApp. The ability to send automated order updates, upsell messages, and bulk marketing campaigns makes it a suitable option for businesses looking to drive sales and improve customer experience through personalized, real-time interactions. Without existing reviews for Sendly, Formateca is currently the safer choice for a merchant looking for a reliable application, but Sendly's feature set makes it a valuable tool for a merchant interested in instant engagement if they are willing to be an early adopter.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Formateca Emails offers a semi-automated install, while Sendly emphasizes a simple setup with a QR code scan to connect WhatsApp. Both appear relatively straightforward, but the level of technical expertise needed will be dependent on the user's comfort level. Without more reviews, it's hard to definitively say which is easier.
Which app is better for branding?
Formateca Emails is specifically designed to elevate branding through visually appealing email templates and extensive customization options. Sendly allows for customizing message templates but focuses more on the message content than overall visual design. Formateca is the better choice for merchants who value visual branding.
Which app is more focused on sales?
Sendly Whatsapp message orders directly incorporates sales-focused features like upsell messaging and bulk marketing campaigns via WhatsApp. Formateca Emails indirectly supports sales by improving the overall customer experience through better-designed emails, but it does not offer direct sales features.
What type of notifications do these apps cover?
Formateca Emails offers 12 customizable email notification types. Sendly focuses on order confirmation, updates, and marketing-related messages via WhatsApp. Sendly therefore is less versatile, but may be focused on the areas that matter most to merchants, such as directly communicating with customers about their orders.
Which app offers better long-term support?
Based on the available data, it's difficult to determine which app offers better long-term support. Formateca Emails has positive reviews, suggesting a potentially positive support experience, but the limited number of reviews makes this inconclusive. Sendly's lack of reviews provides no insight into its support quality.
